Famous Australian singer, actress and environmental and animal rights champion has launched her own range of all-natural, luxury skin care products that is palm oil free, cruelty free and vegan. The new range certified palm oil free by Orangutan Alliance is an example of the consumer and brand trend moving towards evergreen and higher purpose consumption.
“Retreatment Botanics is so close to my heart”, says Olivia. “The Gaia team and I consulted with top natural skincare experts and formulated a pure performance skincare range that evokes the luxurious sensual treatments of our beautiful Gaia Retreat & Spa.”
Making a good thing better, the products are formulated using a new technology – Australian Cellular Biomimicry ™. To survive in the harshest places on earth, Australian native plants intelligently store high concentrations of antioxidants and vitamins. This new technology captures the powerful phyto-compounds as they exist in nature, allowing delivery of their molecular profile to help target skincare concerns and deliver visible results from the first application.
Not only do the products offer a holistic experience with all-natural aromas and powerful ingredients, but they are also created with consideration of the environment. At the forefront of each formula is the health and welfare of the person using it, as well as that of our planet. Now this is something we should all be hopelessly devoted to!
Packaging in the range is also made from recycled packaging and is recyclable.
The skin care line is certified as palm oil free by the Orangutan Alliance- an independent, non-profit organisation and registered charity, which promotes the reduction of non-sustainable palm oil in products. Through its Alliance Partners, the Orangutan Alliance provides support for reforestation, orangutan rescue and other meaningful projects that counteract the devastation caused by non-sustainable palm oil production.
Maria Abadilla, Chairperson of Orangutan Alliance, says: “We are excited to work with Olivia and her team to deliver a luxurious product that is palm oil free. The Retreatment Botanics range is a beautiful example of great product innovation that combines quality with ethical brand values from the product to its packaging. At the Alliance we really strive to partner with visionaries in the field like Olivia.”
